Nursery went on a Spring walk and noticed how things are changing and new life is appearing in the school grounds.
Seeds, growing and planting, are a big part of our project just now!
One Snowy Day.....
Nursery had a lovely time exploring and playing in the snow this week. Of course we built a snowman, Billy, and warmed up with hot chocolate and hot cross buns. I think the smile says it all!
The children created a story map for “We’re going on a Bear Hunt”. Lots of great language and expression.
Great observation ,exploration and discussion about the different processes of ice.
“Who’s been eating my porridge?”
“Does anyone need a vet?”
Being creative in Nursery.
Autumn Term 2020
Our third mini outcome for our project was a week of physical challenges. We are stars!
Mr Brightmore’s hobby is astronomy. He talked to Nursery about his love of the stars and how we are all made of stardust. It was fascinating, especially as he had a robot and an alien to tell us some facts.
Nursery placed their pebble poppies with those from the rest of the school after their own Remembrance Service.
Here we are on Project launch day, “Marvellous Me”. We have a new friend Gerald the Giraffe.
Gerald was hungry, so the children helped him to reach the leaves on the Nursery tree!
We love to sing and dance to help us with our learning. “Pete the Cat and his four Groovy Buttons” helps us with the number 4.
