Being the best version of me!
Children In Need
We talked about Children In Need and what this day means. We decided that it was good to do ‘our bit’ even if all we could contribute was a small amount because all donations add up together to help children who need our kindness. We joined in with Joe Wicks and his fitness quiz - this was very tiring! In the afternoon we could choose between 3 Pudsey maths challenges or Pudsey art.
One kind word
We started the week with ‘Odd socks day’ and talked about how good it is to be different. We then started a game of kindness bingo. We played bingo throughout the week to see how kind our class was - we read the statements and then when we performed one of the acts we coloured it in.
We made a kindness chain - we all wrote an act of kindness down on a chain link and then joined them together. By joining them together we made a pact to carry out these act of kindness.
We talked about what Remembrance Day means. We wrote poems to commemorate this special day and used what we had learnt in art to decorate poppies. We also took part in the two minutes silence and talked about how we felt.
