The safety and security of pupils, staff and visitors is of utmost importance in our school. Nowhere in the school or grounds will abusive or anti-social behaviour be tolerated. Anyone behaving in this way will be asked to leave or may be removed from the premises and may be prosecuted.
Following such an incident the school has various options available including barring a person from the premises. With regard to staff receiving telephone calls from irate and abusive callers, the member of staff will attempt to calm the situation by explaining that the issue can only be dealt with if the caller becomes polite and reasonable in their approach. If the abuse continues then the caller will be reminded and if the member of staff continues to feel abused the call will be terminated. The school has voice recording CCTV in various areas of the school which operates in accordance with its ICO registration.
